Colors of the Lindz. . .

Sailor Moon, Roy Lichtenstein, Guns N' Roses, Coldplay, Van Gogh. . . These are all my muses.

Anime (Japanese animation) is my favorite style of drawing. Through drawing anime, I can still incorporate my love of Lichtenstein, GNR, and Van Gogh in all my pieces.

My short narrative, "Estranged", was inspired by lyrics from some of my favorite Guns N' Roses songs.

One night, Coldplay's "Paradise" found its way into my head and made itself at home, so I drew the first piece of my other short narrative, "Paradise Kingdom." From there, a story was created.

Music and art are interconnected for me. What I hear, I can most often visualize and express through drawing/painting.  Lyrics that speak to me become paint on canvas, ink on a computer, or pencil on paper.

Together, they make The Colors of the Lindz.

(It's a pun I'm quite proud of being that I love Disney... Colors of the Wind for those who didn't get the reference...)

This is me, posing in front of my original short narrative "Estranged" at my Senior Art Show. The Senior Art show is for all students at the Episcopal School of Dallas in AP Art to put on display their works, prepare an artist statement, and present to the school/public their concentrations. My concentration is The Struggle for Perfection.

You can view my artist statement HERE.

Welcome!

Hi, I'm Lindsay. I am a recent high school graduate headed for University of Washington (Seattle) in the fall.  I have been an artist for as long as I could use a pencil, and have just submitted my 2D Portfolio for the AP Studio Art Exam after having completed the course this past year.

Here, you can follow the adventures my art creates.

My art will take you to places never explored, where underrated mediums are seen for their potential, and used to their highest power.

Much of my work is inspired by my interests. Anime (Japanese animation) is a huge influence seen in most of  my work. Meanwhile, I do enjoy painting, sketching, and photography.

Since most of my artwork is digital, I have the ability to make multiple copies in any shape and size of my pieces.

If you wish to purchase a piece, please message me or visit my PRICING page, where all artwork sizes and their corresponding prices are listed.

I appreciate your company, opinion, time, and interest in my artwork.
